These new safety features are located on the Dungog Pound portion of the Dungog Common, according to the Dungog Common's Development Director, Daniel LeBlanc.
"We've been managing the Dungog pound, which is next to the saleyards, only since December and it's an historic property in Dungog but the fence was really rundown... rusted barbed wire and so on," Mr LeBlanc said.

Mr LeBlanc hopes that these new fences will help tide the community over while he waits on a number of approvals for future projects. The works follow the exhibition of the draft masterplan and Mr LeBlanc hopes to begin work by the end of 2023.
