After hosting the event for the first time since 2019 last year, the tea party team are looking to make the event bigger and better now that they've got their momentum back, according to Dungog Tea Party secretary Erika Seck.
"We were growing in numbers... I think this year will be good," Ms Seck said.
This year the tea party is set to kick off on Tuesday, September 5 and go for five days.
These five days will include holding trivet workshops, paint and sip tea workshops, a fully catered opening day and a cocktail party at the Royal Hotel to close the day off.
Ms Seck also said local businesses are being invited to hold workshops and events in their premises throughout the festival and take part in a Tea Party themed window display competition.
Primary school students have also been invited to submit artworks, which will be displayed in Lovey's IGA.
Dungog High School students' artworks will be displayed at the James Theatre.
Entries close on Sunday, August 13 and must be dropped off at the Dungog Visitor Information Centre.
The categories for each competition have also changed since last year - each one will now have a cash prize.Tea cosy categories are high tea, Australian flora and fauna, circus time, family, what I like and treasured memories. Trivet categories include timber, metal, ceramic, fabric, recycled materials, novelty and treasured memories.
