Similar to Clarence Town Post Office, the charity campdraft is raising money for the anti-bullying charity Dolly's Dream.
Previously the organisation raised money for Motor Neurone Disease Australia.
Secretary of the Dungog Charity Campdraft Felicity Wade said the idea to support Dolly's Dream came due to its relevance to the Dungog Shire.
"We were going to look at different charities each year," she said.
Ms Wade said everyone on the committee either has young kids in the area or in schools and they had been impacted by the loss of two local youngsters.
"So we wanted to do something for the local area of Dungog and provide some kind of education about the impact of suicide and the impact of bullying.
"We approached a few different charities and we found that Dolly's Dream could run the education sessions and is closely aligned with the sport of campdrafting because Dolly's family were from a small rural property."
With the free campdraft set to be held over the 18th and 19th of May, the committee has been overwhelmed with entries. Ms Wade said that they received over 1200 entries.
Alongside the traditional campdraft, Ms Wade said that the committee has organised a number of unique events to draw people in.
"We're running what we've called the Business House Dash for Cash," she said.
"We've got 17 businesses that have already put $1000 in and they are going to have two campdraft competitors ride on their behalf to win the jackpot," she said.
"Of the $1000, $600 is going straight to Dolly's Dream and then the remaining $400 from each business goes into the jackpot for one business to win."
The 2024 Dungog Charity Campdraft will be held at the Dungog Showground.
